Jane is an artist who has worked in a variety of media. She has been taking classes in Multimedia and Graphic Design at Cal State University, East Bay, and is currently studying Printmaking. In recent years she has tried her hand at blacksmithing, tapestry, and welding

She completed a portion of an apprenticeship in blacksmithing through the CA Blacksmithing Association in Granite Bay, California, which is in Placer County.

She has traveled to Vallejo, California for lessons in tapestry with Nancy Jackson.
